A Symbol

It gets me upset when I see people say the pledge without meaning or let the flag touch the ground and not even care. It is because we have a lack of knowledge and a lack of interest. Our flag is a symbol of hard work. Our flag is a symbol of determination. Our flag is a symbol of love. Our flag is a symbol of pride. Our flag is a symbol of freedom. Our flag is a symbol of our heritage. Our flag is a symbol of the thousands of men that died in war just so we could be free and fly that flag and be proud to be the United States of America. America I love you. I am glad that scouting has helped to unveil the meaning behind the symbol.
